Yes, every rug in our collection is 100% handmade. They are hand-knotted or hand-woven by skilled female artisans in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. We do not sell machine-made imitations.
Are the rugs clean, or do they need to be cleaned?
Our rugs arrive freshly hand-cleaned by the artisans, and we clean each rug again in our warehouse before shipping. Since they are made with natural wool, we recommend airing them out or gently vacuuming after arrival to keep them looking their best.
What materials are used?
Our Moroccan rugs are crafted from 100% natural sheep wool and traditional natural dyes. The wool is carefully selected for its softness, durability, and warmth, ensuring comfort and longevity for each piece.
Is the rug I see in the photo the exact one I will receive?
For our "Ready-to-Ship" collection, the rug in the photo is the exact piece you will receive. For "Custom Orders," your rug will be a recreation of the design, and because each one is handmade, slight variations in pattern and color are expected. These variations highlight the uniqueness of the artisan piece.

Care & Maintenance
Regular vacuuming (without a beater bar) is recommended. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using harsh chemicals. For deep cleaning, we suggest professional rug cleaning every 3–5 years.
My rug is shedding—Is this normal?
Yes, it’s normal for new wool rugs to shed small fibers for the first few weeks. This will stop after regular vacuuming and use.
Why does my rug have a slight scent?
Natural wool can sometimes have a faint "sheep" scent due to lanolin. This is a sign of authenticity and will dissipate after airing the rug out or vacuuming it.
